Common questions
- How do I unlock all the pages?
- Open any locked page. A grown-up answers a short addition question, and
then the purchase button appears. One payment unlocks all 30 books — every
page, forever, including books added in future updates. There is no
subscription.
- I paid before, on another device. How do I get my pages back?
- Open a locked page, pass the grown-up question, and tap
Restore Purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same
Apple Account that bought it, everything unlocks again at no charge. Usually
it happens by itself the moment you open the app.
- Why is there a maths question?
- So a child cannot buy anything by tapping. Prices and purchase buttons are
never shown to children — only a small padlock, so they know more pictures
exist.
- Where do the finished pictures go?
- Into the app's own gallery, stored on the device. To keep one outside the
app, open it in the gallery and choose to save it to Photos. The app asks for
add-only permission, so it can add a picture but never look at the rest of
your library.
- Can more than one child use the app?
- Yes. Tap the round avatar at the top of the home screen to add up to four
children. Each one gets their own gallery and their own progress.
- Does it need the internet?
- No. Everything works on a plane, in a car, anywhere. The app has no
network features at all.
- My child pressed the star but the page still looks unfinished.
- That is fine — the star simply means "I am done with this one". A page
can be starred whenever your child feels finished, and can always be opened
again to add more colour.
- How do I turn the sounds off?
- Tap the speaker button at the top of the home screen, or the one on any
colouring page.
- How do I delete everything?
- Deleting the app removes all artwork, progress and profiles from the
device. Nothing is stored anywhere else, so there is nothing left over — and
nothing we can recover afterwards.
